Pet Photo Booth is a photography arts project documenting Australians and the relationships they share with our pets. People and their pets are photographed in a mobile studio in front of original 1970s and 1980s photo-wall backdrops; the kitsch settings include forests, waterfalls, castles, New York skylines and space shuttles.
The novelty settings and presence of pets seems to inspire their human companions to open up to the camera and the resulting portraits are engaging, funny and range from the beautiful to the bizarre.
